Keep Your Boy Intact

20 Oct

Did you know?

  • Circumcision of baby boys is the most common surgery performed in the United States today.
  • Studies show that circumcision does not prevent AIDS or STDS.  Only safe sex and condoms can do that.
  • The foreskin is a normal and functional body part, protecting the penis and aiding in adult sexual pleasure.
  • Circumcision is painful, risky and unnecessary and unethical – babies are unable to consent.

Pregnancy and Infant Loss

15 Oct

In memory of all the little souls who have passed away during pregnancy and infancy.  Tonight, light a candle for the mothers that have cried an ocean of tears.  Light a candle for the fathers with silently broken hearts.  Light a candle for the brothers and sisters left behind.

FALL in Love!

13 Oct

Once in a while I stumble upon a new blog that I absolutely fall in love and today happens to be one of those lucky days!

After spending the weekend at our cabin, I couldn’t help but feel inspired by the beautiful colours all around me.  Different shades of reds, greens, yellows and brown among the leaves, trees, birds, mushrooms, moss and so much more!

Coming back to the city during the week can sometimes be a little tiresome but thanks to Christina at Moment to Moment I once again felt inspired.  Filled with beautiful photos, creative craft ideas and fun recipes, you’ve got to check out this homeschoolin’ mama’s daily posts!
